MISSION & VALUES

TaikoMix is an ensemble of taiko drummers dedicated to preserving the traditions of Japanese and North American taiko culture. TaikoMix embraces the spirit of North American kumi-daiko (ensemble drumming) while fusing taiko with other traditional musical elements. Through public performances and educational activities throughout the Inland Empire and Southern California communities, TaikoMix focuses on sharing the rich history of North American taiko and its impact on the Asian American community.
